Instructor Rating
|
To be awarded with an Instructor Rating the following criteria must be met:
- 200 hours of total flight time in aeroplanes
- 150 hours of pilot-in-command
- 15 hours of instrument time of which 10 hours must be in an aeroplane and 5 hours must be dual
- 1 hour dual spin recovery training (certified competent)
- 40 hours cross-country time pilot-in-command
- At least one 300 NM cross-country flight with at least 2 full stop landings
- 25 hours of C-Category instructor training with an A or B category Instructor
- 10 hours in appropriate category aircraft
You also have to complete a CAA approved Instructional Techniques Course.
