Instructor Rating
|
For the helicopter pilot who wants more than just a Commercial Pilot Licence, a Helicopter Instructor Rating is the next level. Instructor Rating training with HELiPRO will increase your chances of finding employment in the aviation industry and increase your skill level dramatically.

A course on Instructional Technique must be sat to become eligible to sit an Instructors Rating. On the day of the flight test you must also demonstrate to the Flight Examiner an ability to teach a nominated flight exercise and also go through a questions session based on Air Law, Meteorology, Navigation and Principles of Flight.
Practical
Once you have obtained your CPL, in NZ you are required to have a minimum of 150 hours Pilot in Command (PIC) experience, to be eligible to obtain an Instructor Rating.
