2011 Course start dates, North Island
Monday 12th September - 3 months full time
2012 Course start dates, North Island
Monday 23rd January -3 months full time
Monday 21st May -3 months full time
Monday 17th September -3 months full time
Ground school is available for students wishing to study helicopter or fixed wing flight training.
To gain your aviation license you are required by CAA to pass a number of theory subjects prior to sitting your flight test:
- PPL Air Law
- PPL Navigation
- PPL Metrology
- PPL Flight Radio Telephone Operator
- PPL Human Factors
- PPL General Aircraft Technical Knowledge
If you want to gain you Commercial Pilot License you also need to sit:
- CPL Air Law
- CPL Navigation
- CPL Metrology
- CPL Principles of Flight
- CPL Human Factors
- CPL General Aircraft Technical Knowledge
HELiPRO Aviation Training has designed a number of Ground School programmes to meet the needs of our students.
Some of these are:
- 3 month full time PPL/CPL Integrated course - Next course starting September 12th 2011 (North Island)
- 4 week PPL full time course
- 6 month Half day CPL course
- Supported Self Study
All subjects are taught by our highly qualified flight instructors.
