The Commercial Pilots Licence continues on from the Private Pilots Licence, with flight training undertaken in our Cessna 152 or Cessna 172 fixed wings. It is possible to train in a multi engine aeroplane such as our Seneca PA28r, although the Cessna 152 is the most cost effective and popular option.
A minimum of 200 hours of flight training will be carried out as per CAR AC 61.5, except for allowable cross-crediting experience. This fixed wing flight training will include exercises as listed for your PPL, but to a higher level of competency and a perfecting of techniques.

This training will include at least the minimum flight time requirements that follow:

100 hours |
| Cross-country Navigation: |
| 30 hours in aeroplanes which is to include 20 hours training and the cross-country flight test in accordance with the syllabus set out in Appendix II of AC 61-5. |
| Night flying: Instrument Flying: |
10 hours to include 4 hours dual and 5 hours solo.
